What to Expect in Session Two:
In this webinar, Solomon Awa will discuss what Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit is and why it is important for the management and stewardship of polar bears. He will share his perspective on the main challenges Inuit have with communicating their knowledge and perspectives with government and folks outside of Inuit Nunangat. He will also share some ideas on how non-Inuit can make sense of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit for developing comprehensive and community-informed wildlife management policies.
